PlantCare: AI Plant Tracker Terms of Service

By downloading or using PlantCare: AI Plant Tracker, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

PlantCare: AI Plant Tracker provides locally stored plant profiles, care plans, reminders, growth records, optional AI-assisted insights, and optional subscription benefits offered through the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android. PlantCare does not offer user registration, email login, account-based cloud synchronization, or cross-device recovery.

Care plans, reminders, knowledge content, and AI output are general informational aids, not professional agricultural, horticultural, medical, food-safety, or pest-control advice. Plant needs vary. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Use your judgment and consult a qualified professional for toxic plants, chemicals, or serious infestations.

4. Your Content

You retain rights you lawfully hold in photos, notes, and other content. Ordinary local content remains on your device. When you use Add Plant image identification or deliberately submit information to another online AI feature, you grant us, our temporary image-transfer provider, and the AI provider a limited license to transmit and process it solely to provide that feature.

5. PlantCare Pro

• PlantCare does not require an account. On iOS, the app checks subscriptions on the device through Apple StoreKit and the App Store. On Android, it checks subscriptions through Google Play Billing. PlantCare does not send purchase tokens or receipts to its server for subscription verification, and no Google Play service-account file is used.
• Prices, currencies, billing periods, offers, renewals, and payment processing are displayed and administered by Apple or Google, as applicable.
• Subscriptions normally renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to the applicable store terms.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings on iOS or Google Play subscription settings on Android.
• Uninstalling PlantCare or deleting local data does not cancel a subscription.
• After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies and applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not attack or disrupt the service, scrape it without authorization, submit unlawful or malicious content, abuse AI or subscription resources, or bypass technical limits.

7. Availability and Intellectual Property

Online and store features may be unavailable because of maintenance, networks, permissions, third-party providers, or store services. Except for your content, PlantCare software, interface, brand, and original content belong to us or our licensors.

8. Ending Use

You may stop using PlantCare and delete its local data at any time. You must cancel any active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription separately. We may restrict online features for unlawful conduct, fraud, security risks, abuse, or material breach.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for plant loss, missed reminders, reliance on AI or knowledge suggestions, local data loss, device/network failures, or indirect loss. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Law and Changes

These Terms are governed by the law of the developer's place of establishment without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live. We may update these Terms for feature, legal, or business changes and will provide notice where required.
